Practical, Hands-On Engineering Solutions for Small Clients
Mark Elliott set up DFMA Engineering to provide structural and manufacturing engineering services specifically for small clients. Over forty years ago, right out of high school, Mark worked in a small engineering office in Boone, North Carolina, for an engineer who provided structural analysis for residential builders.
A Return to the Roots of Engineering
With over forty years’ worth of experience in manufacturing of many types, with over twenty-five of those years as an engineer, Mark has hands-on experience in a wide variety of environments. That hands-on experience allows him to engineer realistic, executable solutions that work.
What Sets DFMA Engineering Apart?
DFMA is an acronym that stands for Design For Manufacturing and Assembly, and that is what Mark does, whether it is a solution for truss repair, a new retaining wall, an asphalt shingle, or a blood filtration device (yes, Mark has worked in all of these fields and more).
As a licensed professional engineer, you can be assured that Mark will find a solution to any problem that is practical and meets any applicable codes or standards.
DFMA Engineering, PLLC, is licensed in North Carolina (license number P-1980) by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors and is a member of the Home Builders Assocation of Winston-Salem.
